Delete your account

You can delete your Mathless account here, without the app. In the app, the same thing is under Account → Delete account.

What is deleted

• Your account, sign-in details and sessions, on every device.
• Your profile: display name, phone number and profile photo.
• Groups and ledgers that no one else with an account is part of, with everything in them.
• Invites you sent or accepted, and pending invites sent to your address.

What stays in groups you share

Shared groups are other people's records too, so they stay, and every balance stays exactly as it was. No money moves. In those groups:

• the name the group knows you by stays on the entries, so everyone can still tell whose share is whose;
• that name is no longer linked to any account;
• your email address and phone number are removed.

If you were the only admin of a shared group, another member with an account becomes admin. Want a copy first? Use Account → Export your data in the app before you delete.

Deletion happens straight away and can't be undone. Copies may stay in the hosting provider's backups for a short time until they are overwritten. Details are in the privacy policy.
